We explored the impact of vitamin B12 on patients with autoimmune disorders, particularly those experiencing symptoms often attributed to their underlying conditions. The study presented three cases of individuals with neuropathic pain, depression, fatigue, and muscle weakness, who had their symptoms initially misattributed to rheumatic diseases.
Upon starting vitamin B12 supplementation, these patients showed nearly complete resolution of their symptoms, highlighting the potential benefits of this vitamin in treating related health issues. Interestingly, several participants did not display obvious deficiencies in vitamin B12 levels according to lab tests, suggesting that even those who appear to have sufficient levels could still benefit from supplementation.
Furthermore, we delved into research indicating the nerve-protective properties of vitamin B12, which could play a crucial role in managing pain and neuropathy associated with long-standing rheumatic diseases. Therefore, we recommend that healthcare providers consider checking vitamin B12 levels early in the diagnostic journey for autoimmune conditions, and think about offering supplementation regardless of laboratory findings.

We explored a novel oral drug delivery system designed specifically for treating IgA nephropathy, an autoimmune disorder. Using hydroxychloroquine and dexamethasone paired with yeast cell walls, we aimed for targeted delivery to the ileal region.
Our findings revealed that this system effectively reduced harmful IgA levels and improved kidney tissue health in test subjects. We also noted significant reductions in inflammatory markers, suggesting potential benefits in managing IgA nephropathy through this innovative approach.

We investigated the role of certain yeast polysaccharides in modulating immune responses related to autoimmune disorders. Our focus was on mannan/β-1,6-glucan-containing polysaccharides (MGCP), which showed strong anti-inflammatory properties.
MGCP prompted the development of regulatory T cells and reduced harmful immune responses in models of inflammatory diseases. While we saw promising results in laboratory settings, these findings emphasize the potential of using yeast-derived compounds for therapeutic approaches in treating autoimmune conditions.

Effective anti-BAMBI treatment in miceTherapeutic Effects of Anti-Bone Morphogenetic Protein and Activin Membrane-Bound Inhibitor Treatment in Psoriasis and Arthritis.
High relevance for autoimmune therapy
We investigated the effects of a novel treatment targeting BAMBI, a protein involved in immune cell regulation, on autoimmune disorders like psoriasis and arthritis in mice. Through careful experimentation with control groups, we found that the anti-BAMBI antibody significantly increased protective Treg cells and reduced disease progression in various models. This treatment effectively prevented skin psoriasis and type II collagen-induced arthritis, hinting at new therapeutic possibilities for chronic inflammatory conditions driven by immune system dysfunction.

We explored the impact of vitamin B12 treatment on individuals suffering from pernicious anemia, an autoimmune disorder that affects the body’s ability to absorb this essential vitamin. In a recent case report, a 51-year-old man from Uganda presented with lower limb weakness, which had returned after an earlier bout of vitamin B12 deficiency.
Upon investigation, he was diagnosed with pernicious anemia, a condition that can cause a range of symptoms due to the body’s inability to produce intrinsic factor, crucial for vitamin B12 absorption. After starting parenteral methylcobalamin therapy, we observed significant improvements in his symptoms, highlighting how effective vitamin B12 can be in managing this disorder.
This case emphasizes the need for awareness and timely diagnosis of vitamin B12 deficiency among healthcare providers, especially in resource-limited settings. Such proactive management can lead to recovery and improved quality of life for those affected.

According to the test results, my child was deficient in B12, which I ordered upon the doctor's recommendation. This vitamin is fantastic and has a pleasant taste, so my child takes it willingly. After 14 days, my child's B12 levels were back to normal—what a relief!
I had to check my B12 and folic acid levels due to low ferritin. I chose this methylcobalamin form of B12 based on excellent reviews and convenience as a spray. I’m very happy, as my B12 levels quickly returned to normal. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with similar deficiencies.

This product is excellent! The taste is outstanding, and despite using three sprays instead of one, I've experienced no issues. My numbness has reduced by 95%, and I'm feeling more active. I store it in the refrigerator to prevent any mould, and it's worked brilliantly—I've completely forgotten about my initial symptoms.
